Anderson Survey Company started using CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) Systems in 1985 with the first system being the Hewlett Packard HP-86 with a HP Large Format Plotter.

AutoCAD Version  2.18 and a IBM-AT computer were purchased shortly after because of the advantages the AutoCAD software presented. AutoCAD is still being used, which is now up to AutoCAD 2000. The software of choice by Anderson Survey Company, which software incorporates AutoCAD Map 2000 is the Land Development Desktop R2, Autodesk Survey R2 and Autodesk Civil Design R2 Civil/Survey solutions. 

Computers using the Pentium III processor have been added with latest in various supporting hardware and software packages to maximize efficiency and capabilities.
